Gladstone has emerged as a central hub in Queensland for renewable energy, with the nearby Euroa Substation playing an important role in the support of Fortescue’s Hydrogen Electrolyser Plant. IUP contributed to the substation’s construction by providing 275kV base plate mounted pipe gantries. The completion of Fortescue’s electrolyser facility will see Gladstone become a world-leading hub for the manufacture of electrolysers.

Key outcomes.

On completion, the project will complete an early step in the regions’ renewable energy ecosystem.
